Third graders brought history to life! After researching the native peoples who inhabited Jalisco before the arrival of the Spanish, they visited the incredible Guachimontones—the largest archaeological site in western Mexico. 📚✨ This hands-on experience connected their studies to the real-world wonders of our past!

The Warrior Robotics Upper Teams, Minerva Warriors and Minerva Legion, proudly represented ASFG at the FIRST Tech Challenge Into the Deep regional in Zapopan, competing against 19 teams. 🤖✨ Minerva Legion, our 7th-9th grade team, advanced to the playoffs and earned the prestigious Innovate Award. Minerva Warriors, our 10th-12th grade team, claimed the regional championship, securing 2nd place in the robot game and receiving the coveted Inspire Award—the highest honor in the competition. 🏅🚀 Their stellar performance also earned them a spot at the FIRST Tech Challenge Mexico National Championship! 🇲🇽🎉 Congratulations to both teams for their incredible achievements and dedication to innovation and teamwork!

We closed last year with full hearts, delivering beautiful Appreciation Boxes to celebrate and thank our amazing operations staff for their tireless dedication. At ASFG, we believe in showing our gratitude because we are more than a school—we are a community that deeply cares. Our 5th-grade middle school students took on an inspiring interdisciplinary project in Spanish and Social Studies. They created impactful ads to raise awareness about the effects of fast fashion on climate change and shared solutions to tackle this issue as responsible global citizens. To make their messages even more engaging, they incorporated LED circuits, exploring electricity in a hands-on and creative way. A shining example of critical thinking, creativity, and a commitment to building a better world! 🌍💡

🎃✨ Alumni of ASFG’s Past Return for a Special Halloween “Lotería” ✨🎃 This Halloween, generations of ASFG alumni came together to create a unique “lotería” deck, showcasing their diverse professions, talents, and passions. Dressed to the nines in spooky spirit, they paraded through campus, sparking curiosity, inspiring dreams, and sharing glimpses of the many paths ASFG students could explore in the future. Classes of ’85, ’99, ’00, ’01, ’03, ’05, ’06, ’08, ’13, and ’14, thank you for reminding us that once an ASFG student, always part of the family. 📍 5th Grade Service Learning at ASFG Recently, our 5th-grade students connected with non-teaching staff members from security, maintenance, events, and custodial teams! This opportunity allowed them to learn about the essential work that keeps our campus running smoothly and builds a sense of belonging within our ASFG community. Thanks to the middle school administration, and the many parents who joined to support this project. We’ll be continuing this activity all year, and we’d love for more parents to get involved!
