The Shared Hearts Series: Real Stories of Parenting with Purpose
Join us as we kick off the second year of Shared Hearts, a heartfelt parent-to-parent series presented in partnership with the Parents’ Association, Warrior Parent Academy, and Inclusion & Belonging. Through personal stories of raising children with unique needs, this series fosters empathy, understanding, and a stronger sense of community.
In this first session, we welcome two ASFG parents, Clarisa Navarro and Karla Sáenz, who will share two perspectives on living with ADHD (Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder). Clarisa will reflect on her own experience with ADHD and what she has learned over the years, while Karla will share her journey of supporting her son and navigating everyday family life.
Together, their stories invite us to look beyond common misconceptions and stereotypes, offering a deeper, more compassionate understanding of ADHD and how perspectives and approaches to support have evolved across generations.
