There is no such thing as a vote that doesn’t matter. Living abroad does not mean we relinquish our rights. All adult US citizens living abroad are eligible to vote in federal elections; that is, for President, US Senate, and US House of Representatives. If you turn 18 by November 3, 2026, that includes you!
All US voters living abroad can get their ballots by email, if you register on time. Registration online is easy–you will need your last known address in the USA–if you never lived there, you can use your parents’ last address. Take this opportunity to register to vote with the assistance of Voting Assistance Officers in a non-partisan voter registration event.
