Part of the Shared Hearts series, this conference shares a family’s journey with Down Syndrome through the experience of Benjamín, a high school student at ASFG. Ignacio, his dad, and Ana Sofía, his sister, reflect on growth, inclusion, the school’s impact, and the joy and meaning that have shaped their lives.
🗣️ About the Presenters:
Ignacio Jiménez is a dedicated parent at ASFG and an active member of the community. As Benjamín’s father, he brings a heartfelt perspective on family, inclusion, and the long-term journey of supporting a child with Down Syndrome.
Ana Sofía Jiménez is an alumna of ASFG and currently serves as an Early Childhood Teacher Assistant. As Benjamín’s sister, she offers a unique and personal insight into growing up alongside him and the impact of inclusion within both family and school environments.
