The goal of the workshop is to understand how social skills influence success in academic settings, social environments, emotional development, and overall mental well-being. It will also explore essential skills for social development, including healthy two-way communication, emotional expression, and empathy. Participants will learn about the factors that can lead to social conflicts in children, the skills children need to manage these conflicts, and how adults can support their growth in these areas.

🗣️ About the Presenters:
Ivette de la Mora is a psychologist who specializes in brief systemic therapy and holds additional diplomas in psychodiagnostics, communication, educational psychomotricity, and other related areas. She has over 30 years of experience working with children, adolescents, and parents with conflict management, addressing learning difficulties, and providing diagnosis and intervention in these areas. She has led workshops and seminars on emotional intelligence, the development of thinking skills, disciplinary models, and other topics. She currently runs her psycho-pedagogical center, Destrezas, and is co-director of Life Tools, a center specializing in workshops for children focused on social skills, emotional intelligence, self-regulation.
Fernanda Zarzosa holds a Master’s degree in neuropsychology and education. She has 20 years of experience working with educational institutions and over 10 years of experience in interventions related to both learning and socioemotional development. She has worked with teachers from preschool through university levels and has led workshops on designing and adapting support strategies for students of all ages. She is currently a graduate-level professor and co-director of Life Tools, a psycho-pedagogical center.
