Upcoming Workshop: "Social Skills for Parents"

Upcoming Workshop: "Social Skills for Parents"
Presented by LIFE TOOLS: Ivette de la Mora & Fernanda Zarzosa

Workshop Overview

Parenting in today’s world means navigating everything from screen time and peer pressure to adolescence and emotional development—and social skills are at the heart of it all.

This two-part workshop series will explore empathy as a key foundation for children’s relationships and personal growth. It will cover the importance of adaptability (especially during adolescence), how parents can help their children find a sense of belonging with peers, and how to support them in the face of bullying and social pressure.

Parents will walk away with:

✅ Practical strategies to nurture empathy and communication at home
✅ Tools to help children handle social pressure and bullying
✅ Insights on how to support healthy friendships and peer belonging

✅ A better understanding of how to guide social development across different ages
✅ Confidence in being a steady, positive influence as your child grows
